I’m an artist, writer, speaker, creative encourager, mentor/coach, iPhone photography enthusiast, and a lover of beauty.

 

My desire is to encourage new conversations (deeper conversations), about beauty and how it brings healing, wholeness and restoration to people's hearts as individuals, families, cities and even nations. I believe beauty is as important as the air we breath. We've just forgotten, but it's time to remember! Remembering beauty is remembering who we are!

 

As an artist, I mostly paint abstract. It’s one of my loves! It’s full of mystery and surprise. I can never fully know what’s about to happen when I add color, texture, line, etc. It’s a visceral experience of beauty unfolding right before my eyes. 

 

I also enjoy working in a more illustrative style. Many of my birds and flowers are done with a whimsical feel. They make me happy! 

 

If I'm not painting, you’ll probably find me taking pictures with my iPhone. Don’t be surprised if you see me stopped along a country road taking pictures of trees, leaves, bugs, rust, shadows on sidewalks, ect...it's what I do...it refreshes and inspires me.

 

I also love a good cup of coffee and great conversation, especially about the goodness of God and beauty of course!
